Jules had a blinder, several big saves to keep it at 2-1. But should he have stopped their goal, seeing as he was beaten at the near post? Also, should Foster have been red-carded for the penalty offence? Just asking.....

Bubble Wrap .....it is those idiots like you that p me off .My question I believe was perfectly reasonable as today we had the buffer of a two goal lead but on a number of occasions we have let in unnecessary goals just after half time.I like every other true supporter was really pleased to see Glen return and I believe that a forum such as this us the place to ask reasonable questions???.I expect that you were amongst the idiots who refused to give the ball back when we had about 10 mins to go ...brainless idiots

I think its a good point to make and should not be seen a s a moan. Everyone is over the moon about the result and the performance but I can guarantee it was one of the talking points from TP in the changing room after the game. Leagues are won and lost and stay up or go down on fine margins so goal difference could be massive especially this season come May. Interestingly enough though its not a TP or IH thing but appears to be both. Maybe old school stay on the pitch at halftime with a tub full or cut up oranges?!

What's the problem with the OP raising a genuine topic worthy of discussion? There are loads of posts (quite rightly) raised about what a great result it was and how well the new boys did and so on. Surely, after any result, it is right to consider what we could have dome better? Conceding early in the second half does seem to be an issue that needs addressing. Perhaps those that are negative towards this post should inform everyone else what is on their list of approved topics? Perhaps they have a list of approved opinions? I am the only one in the real World? This is a Palace fans site where we have a bit of a chat about how the game went. If you don't approve of the subject matter, you can always choose not to join in the discussion. There are no traitors on here. Occasionally people raise a point regarding a perceived failing or weakness. This can make for interesting discussion. I was at the game and I thought that conceding early in the second half did make the team nervous and vulnerable. Their goal came within 30 seconds of our own kick off. This suggests to me that we were not quite "at the races" at the start of the second half. This is a topic worthy of discussion!

Like you am a Palace fan that was pleased with todays result. Was pissed off with the morans who constantly jump up and down and scream abuse at our players for a misplaced pass or making mistakes. that was what I was referring to with w***ers in the stands, was not directed at you. What was directed at you was the point that there was a lot of positives today but you only chose to dwell on the negative 10 minutes rather than any of the other 80 minutes. Get what your saying, Hull, Arsenal away and today we didn't come out first 10 minutes of each of the second halfs, its a valid point but there was also a lot of positives in those games.

First of all lets give WBA some praise in the way they started the 2nd half after a dismal 1st half. Looks like their manager gave them a right going over at half time. As for Palace conceding so early in the 2nd half. TP will be furious with this. Managers hate it when the team concedes so early. I was talking to a mate after the match saying. The difference between Pulis and Holloway would be, despite winning Pulis would stress to the players that its not on conceding so early but Holloway whilst talking to the players about it would talk about us winning the match more.

I raised the same issue last week after Arsenal scored on 47 mins. That's now 10 league goals between 46 and 60, plus a couple on 45 mins. I'm sure the drill before the half starts wears them out!
