The win today makes it 9 points from our last 3 home games, am absolutely buzzing! 3 new signings played who i was very impressed with:

Tom Ince: After seeing him beat zaha to young player of the season last year i couldn't understand why. After today it has become a lot clearer to me. He makes some incredible runs, some which bolasie and even puncheon do not. He is always looking to get behind the centre backs and was rewarded with his goal which he took very well. I didn't know he could play in the 'number 10 role' and he seemed to do very well there today. A very good corner as well for the Ledley goal. 1 goal and 1 assist in his first game which is why he was my man of the match. A very promising player.

Joe Ledley: Played at left back which obviously isn't his natural position but did well enough there. Strong header for his goal as well although I'm not sure how he was so open. Hopefully we see him in midfield soon to see what he is fully capable of.

Scott Dann: To be honest I don't remember much from the way he played this game (which is probably a good thing since he is a centre back!!). Seemed good in the air and could form a good partnership with Delaney.

Well done Pulis looks like we have got some very good additions this window. Great win today with hopefully more to come!

What was everyone else's thoughts on the players today?

I was very impressed with the signings and how quickly they slotted into their roles. It speaks of their quality and of Pulis's player judgement.

We still need to give them time to adjust but still we can be very happy that this transfer window has genuinely seen an improvement in team threat.

I think Pulis will have Ledley alongside Jedinak sooner rather than later and Ince has been given total freedom to attack.....Which with the returning Murray should see us be more of a threat.

We have a chance.......But only just as we have a truly horrible run in.

Our record against the lower league teams has been impressive......But there is no getting around it.....We just have to take points off the better sides from here in.

Very very pleased today with the team. We have so many more players who I would say are good enough to play in the prem long term than we had in October and our new three didn't look out of place at all, did they?

I still think just 10 more points may be enough this season.

Ince seems like a cracking player! He is a better all around player than Zaha easily, Zaha is better at beating his man and skill wise but Ince is the better finisher and assister of the two.
I think potential wise both of them are going to be future England players.

I think Ince suits our situation a lot better and I don't think I would swap if asked by Cardiff, our team need Ince's goals, assists and set piece abilities. Great goal too, very well composed finish. Looked a cracking signing today and long may it continue!

It's so tight down there (fnarr fnarr) that I'm beginning to think 34 points might be enough.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Overall, a good show.

I think we are significantly better pushing forward and on set pieces but fell off a bit in defense.

Ledley just doesnt have the pace or recovery to play outside back at this level. We honestly should have allowed 2 or 3 goals today against a rather weak attacking side

Dann was solid a couple piece of miscommunication, but that can be expected for the first game as centre back. He does give us an excellent target on set pieces.

Ince was outstanding, much better than I expected. His work on set piece was much more threatening than our prior option.

I think we can say goodbye to Cardiff and Fulham. The last spot is up for grabs. Any one of eight teams could fill it. We won't be one of them though

As for Ledley, he looked comfortable out of position, I'd prefer to judge him in his natural position, Dann made a few mistakes and correct me if I'm wrong one mistake of his lead to the WBA goal? I'll wait for a few games for Dann and Delaney to forge a proper partnership before passing judgement.
