Zero doubt.

We may be one of the three worst footballing teams in the division but spirit wise and togetherness we are top ten.

We will survive and with points to spare.

And defensively!

Thought Arsenal had the most clean sheets?? They've been smashed again. This has yet to happen to us.

Edit: In fact, prior to our relative goal fest today, we'd only scored 14. Has a team ever achieved so much with so few goals? We are quite possibly the most resilient football club out of the whole top 92, and have been for years. It's in our DNA, and reflected by the fact that we have the best fans in the top flight.

I predict staying up with 39 points.

Will need us to win 5 more as we don't draw any games. We either win or lose it seems.

The thing that worries me is the resurgency of all the teams aound us too.

Looking at the next 7 fixtures its likely we may only come away with 3 points from the next available 21, (Southampton @ home which is a big ask) which would leave us right in the mire.

What we really have to hope for is that 3 out of Wet Spam, West Brom, Norwich, Sunderland, and Stoke suffer a similar s*** run of results.

I like to be positive and i do think we can stay up, just looking at the next 7 games, they are incredibly difficult.

That said, i reckon we'll snatch a point at Goodison, may well turn over United too, which would leave us facing the last 6 games on 33 Points, a decent total with 18 points to play for.

West Ham's next two games see them at home to Norwich and then again at home to Sotuhmpton, At least 3 points, possibly 4 for West Ham there. Best Case, they get 1 point. Interestingly, West Ham have four 6 pointer fixtures coming up in the next 7 games. 2 at home and 2 away. Which bodes well for us aswell as Man United visiting.

Norwich, as above, have Spammers next followed by Spurs at home. They also have four 6 pointer games in the next 7.

Sunderland are away to City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal in their next 7 games as well as facing Palace @ home and Norwich and spammers away. Which i think see's them right in the mire. They also have an FA Cup replay and a League Cup final to attend. I think this will seal their doom as the 3rd spot for relegation along with Fulham and another.

Up next for Cardiff is Hull and Villa at home, followed by Spurs away and and Fulham at home. I have a feeling that Cardiff will grab 9 points here and propell themselves right out of the relegation places, temporarily one hopes. There other fixtures will be Everton, Liverpool and WestBrom away. All points dropped.

Fulham, imo, are doomed, they have United away tomorrow, leaving them 7 adrift if they lose. Thats then followed by Liverpool at home and West Brom away. They also host Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton as well as going away to City and Cardiff.

Palace are STILL third favourites to go down. Fulham and Cardiff are favourites, then us, followed by Norwich, Sunderland, West Ham and WBA. I suspect this reflects the tough run of games we have coming up. The other relegation candidates keep nicking points or even wins off the top clubs. It should be our turn next.

The right place at the right time
