Looking at the table - its surprising just how few draws we have had. That's a good thing really but if we do pick up a few draws against the top teams then we will be fine. let's look positively: • Our average points per game since TP took over is enough to keep us up. • We now have three quality new signings in who will help us score more goals • We have a player returning which is like a 10m pound new signing (Murray) • Pulis has never been relegated • We have depth in the squad now which will cover for injuries All good signs and our win record is now the best of the bottom half of the table … I think others will be far more worried about us than we should of them. My view: we will stay up (and quite easily) with 40 points.

Looking at the table - its surprising just how few draws we have had. That's a good thing really but if we do pick up a few draws against the top teams then we will be fine.

let's look positively:

• Our average points per game since TP took over is enough to keep us up.
• We now have three quality new signings in who will help us score more goals
• We have a player returning which is like a 10m pound new signing (Murray)
• Pulis has never been relegated
• We have depth in the squad now which will cover for injuries

All good signs and our win record is now the best of the bottom half of the table … I think others will be far more worried about us than we should of them.

My view: we will stay up (and quite easily) with 40 points.

Hold on - this is not about survival. Dropping a league will not be a disaster if it happens. Only MOTD pundits and supporters of the glamour-clubs believe there is no life outside of the Premiership. In the past there have been real theats to our survival but CPFC2010 rescued the club from that in 2010 and have done a great job at keeping us safe since. Some were calling on the board to 'guarantee' our premiership status by spending wildly at the start of the transfer window. Thankfully that didn't happen and there is no question of the club's survival no matter what league we end up in - and every reason to hope that it will still be the Premiership.

In the past there have been real theats to our survival but CPFC2010 rescued the club from that in 2010 and have done a great job at keeping us safe since. Some were calling on the board to 'guarantee' our premiership status by spending wildly at the start of the transfer window. Thankfully that didn't happen and there is no question of the club's survival no matter what league we end up in - and every reason to hope that it will still be the Premiership.

Yeah, I wouldn't write off any of the teams below us. Sunderland seems to be recovering from a terrible slump, west brom are out of form, Fulham were excellent against Man Utd (who were poor) and even West Ham were decent.

I think Fulham will take the drop and if last sundays match against Swansea was any indication of a possible survival for Cardiff I think that has now gone out of the window and they will probably go down. I'm not sure about the third place but I still fancy Sunderland. If we can come real good in midfield for the rest of the season I will be much more positive about our survival so lets hope we can control midfield by getting Jedinak,Okeefe,Ledley, Guediora and possibly Puncheon firing on all cylinders. I hate to leave out KG but he has not been very impressive of late,however,who knows he might buck up again and help out?. While I suppose we could also count on Ward I think I would rather see him at back.

You certainly raise several positive points for thought and a few days ago I began to toy with the idea of our getting 40 points. I think Fulham will take the drop and if last sundays match against Swansea was any indication of a possible survival for Cardiff I think that has now gone out of the window and they will probably go down. I'm not sure about the third place but I still fancy Sunderland. If we can come real good in midfield for the rest of the season I will be much more positive about our survival so lets hope we can control midfield by getting Jedinak,Okeefe,Ledley, Guediora and possibly Puncheon firing on all cylinders. We all know CPFC2010 saved the club We all know they are safe guarding the clubs financial future We all know (because of above-financially) it would not be a disaster if we went down Most of us would like to be a success in the top division for a change and actually survive.
