Well, I guess this will be a highly attacked post, but for me MJ has been our weak link the last three games. His passing is awful, just awful, often he runs into teammates and is outplayed again and again. What about a rest - and put Guedioula together with Ledley and SOK/Bannan? OK, never change a winning team, but the Australian has not been up to PL/Palace standard lately. But my god, how good it was to see Murray chasing the ball again....

We were saying something similar yesterday. Obviously a great player and a leader but to me, he looks knackered. Wins the headers and tackles but then keeps giving it away. We need him at his best for the run in so maybe a rest for a couple of weeks is what he needs. Very tough one.

You always want the leaders on the pitch, I agree he sometimes looks knackered.

Jedi has always been the same, he will misplace several passes throughout a game, it's not anything new in his game. It's my view that the good far outweighs the bad, maybe we're noticing it more as the team has improved this season?

Jedi is a massive player for us,his passing is piss poor but that's not so much as a problem now we have Ledley.
Jedi to break it up use Ledley to distribute.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Tend to agree he does look jaded . My only worry is that in the Champ. You could get away with a few misplaced passes (which are getting more and more from him) but in this league it can lead to a goal against us as it has a few times.

its a town full of losers, i,m pulling outta here to win

Whilst I agree his passing is rubbish - he is a beast in the middle of the park - the heartbeat of our team - can't see TP resting him.
As Tom says he has next Sat off

Have a rest my arse !!!!

Tell that to a tennis player who can play 2/3 hour intense game, then 2 days later another, then another.

These are profesional players,in their prime,fit to the highest degree,play 90 very occasionally 180mins football a week,train about 4/5 hours a day.

Agree MJ has had a few mishaps the past few games tho.

He may not be the greatest passer, to the point that it's frustrating, but no one gets stuck in and finds himself in the right place at the right time when the balls in our own half. He is vital to breaking up play, and an integral part of the team.
