Everything TP does is calculated and a measured decision, or so it seems.

Unless he walks into training and the players aren't giving him the enthusiasm he'd expect, I'd imagine he'd be out in the wind and the rain, hammering the same drills over and over again.

Spending a weekend or so in some sunny training camp can be an unpredictable exercise, and I don't think we should risk rocking the boat unnecessarily.

The thought of pampered footballers 'bonding' in the warmth of the Gulf 'holiday camps' will only encourage thoughts of the easy life. Get the boys down to the Somerset floods. Let them lug sand bags about and live in the cold and wet for a few days. Make them see how people are struggling to live a 'normal' life amid underfunded devastation and have a go at helping out. I wouldn't let them anywhere near the Berkshire hamlets around Winsor, where they would only meet their fellow well-heeled footballing mates and the likes of the posh Eton lot trying to put tax payers money in to their pockets
