Just been watching Soccer Am and James Beattie is a guest. Apparently during his time at Stoke Tony Pulis gave him a naked headbutt. And that's not a metaphor.
Pulis has gone up even further in my books.

I've never heard of a 'naked' headbutt before.

Is it as homoerotic as it sounds, or am I missing something here?

Apparently Pulis heard Beattie talking s**t about him to some team mates while Pulis was in the shower. He came out of the shower and head butted Beattie...without first putting clothes on. Beattie was said to just run his mouth constantly and was pretty toxic.

I hated Beattie when he turned his nose up at a transfer to our club, saying we weren't good enough for him effectively.

Would love to have seen Beattie getting nutted, don't know why he is one of them players I have a hatred for. Kean,Wise,Lampard,Wrighty are the others I would personally like to headbutt naked or otherwise.

I don't care if this story is true or not, I want it to be true and that's enough. The idea of TP strutting over to Beattie with his Jacobs swinging and sticking the nut on him is priceless - I'm in for the statue !

Some years ago when Beattie was younger there was a documentary on him - he came out of it looking arraogant and a show off - in it for the fame not the football.
Pretty much how he always came across to be honest.
Great images conjured up with this!
