Anyway, I get that some Palace don't like the self congratulating malarkey but for me, we've got to keep making a big deal out of the support. Being a Palace fan is a different experience from a few years ago and a lot of that is down to the atmosphere among the fans, which is so much better than at the likes of Man City, Arsenal, Spurs etc. I've seen loads of fans of other clubs saying it. Yeah alright, no point saying "we're great", but at the same time it should be seen as important to keep it going. Cos the longer we are in the Premier League, the more likely we will lose atmosphere and follow the likes of Spurs (who used to be known for an electric atmosphere - not any more).

Being a Palace fan is a different experience from a few years ago and a lot of that is down to the atmosphere among the fans, which is so much better than at the likes of Man City, Arsenal, Spurs etc. I've seen loads of fans of other clubs saying it.

Yeah alright, no point saying "we're great", but at the same time it should be seen as important to keep it going. Cos the longer we are in the Premier League, the more likely we will lose atmosphere and follow the likes of Spurs (who used to be known for an electric atmosphere - not any more).

Yeah and I agree and I never said we don't sing the same songs as other clubs and never said we should claim the song but like you said it's important to keep the support going. As shocking as this may sound as fantastic as out support has been this season, I still think we were louder home and away last season, peterbrough away had to be one of best atmospheres and that little stand behind the goal.

Id hate for us to lose out atmosphere because at the start this season it's all we had and it's what I've always loved about this club the most.

You'll never see me stop singing though, no matter what others decide to do around me - can't remember the time I left a match with anything but no voice

Nonsense is a bit harsh - its based on peoples opinions, kind of the concept of a message board - if you don't like people praising our support and being proud of it then don't do it, I'm sure its not gonna effect you too badly if other Palace fans to decide to talk about how food our support is. Know one has become arrogant - if your the best team in the league and its clear for everyone to see, you would talk about how you are the best team in the world and its clear for everyone to see. Same goes for if you are the best fans in the league and its clear for everyone to see - which in my opinion is more important than anything else. Or, as I've already explained, I heard them singing it alot more and alot louder since we went to the Etihad.

And, as I have also mentioned a few times, I never said anything about us singing it before then - but I watch a lot of football and alot of Man City because I love watching them play and I never heard them get it going properly at all until we went there.

Nonsense is a bit harsh - its based on peoples opinions, kind of the concept of a message board - if you don't like people praising our support and being proud of it then don't do it, I'm sure its not gonna effect you too badly if other Palace fans to decide to talk about how food our support is. I know its off topic but having spoke to people at Selhurst on a Saturday but this season especially, more and more people have become whiny on the site and always want to disagree with everything people say just for the sake of it. That, I think, is more boring than someone who says we have the best fans in the league. What I think is annoying people is the amount that everyone keeps going on about our fans.
