Dont think Ince saw enough of the ball out wide.

Think he suits the position he played v west brom, through the middle

I do agree. I think TP changed the set up because if the quality we were playing against, which is a shame because I think we might cause some if the 'big'teams assume problems if we have a go

I agree with you there, i thought ince was much more effective in the middle against west brom, but i also think chamakhs best position is there to.

Overall i think ince on the wing is probably better for the team, with chamakh behind murray/jerome especially because it gives us two big men to hit on goals kicks, long balls etc, and means we will have at least one big guy in the box for crosses. I found when chamakh played up top against west brom, he tended to drift to pick up the ball leaving no one in the box.

He was less effective because of the team, not the position. He's got himself a great reputation as one of the best young talents in the country based on his time at Blackpool on the RIGHT WING. Therefore, his best position is the right wing until proved otherwise, you can't watch him have a great game against west brom through the middle and then a quiet one against united and then definitively decide his best position must be through the middle based on those 2 games.

In pulis we trust to do the right thing, and we know he will. Relax

I think he was very good yesterday as was our whole front line, but then he was also up against Smalling, Ferdinand, Vidic and Evra with Carrick and Fellaini - Which is a pretty formidable opposition

I was a little disappointed by him yesterday. Perhaps all the hype has got to him.

Murray and co need service from the wings, but nobody is able to go past their man and provide the necessary crosses.

Jonnie Parr was our most effective winger yesterday.

It's unfortunate that Puncheon and Ince are both left-footed, and at their best when cutting in from the right wing.

Ledley put in a nice cross when 2-0 down around the RB and behind the CB's. Nobody bothered to make the near post. Murray used to but he had been subbed.

We all know that Ince has played on both flanks but he has also played just behind the main striker. He actually says that his ideal situation is dribbling with the ball one-on-one.

Puncheon pulled off some pretty outrageous tricks to beat his marker yesterday, as did Bolasie later on. I thought the service was pretty good, but Vidic and co were very impressive in dealing with balls into the box.

With regards to Ince, I think his best position is out wide, he just looked more effective against West Brom as we had more of the ball against a considerably worst defence. I thought he made some excellent runs yesterday and lost Evra a few times, we just failed to put him through when he was free.
He was also very impressive defensively, and has a much better work rate than I was expecting.

Is Ince left footed? - Ledley and Puncheon are ; so Ledley played in KGs position and Puncheon wide.

I think Ince would have been better in the hole, with somebody out wide on the right.

Is Ince left footed?

Definitely left-footed but has been known to drift inside and shoot with both feet.
