They're wrong, but they are quite amusing. Football is pantomime in many ways, for grown ups. Its not really serious. Throwing objects, yeah ok thats out of order, but as far as most chants go, they're pretty innoculous and irreverent. I doubt Moyes took it seriously, and I doubt his daughter even cares.

So to answer the original question, it's about attacking the person's integrity. Which suggests for a long time a large section of fans have hated him, depsite what some others may think. And that's fine, I don't see anything wrong with the song at all but the point is why is it such an outrage to bring Moyes' daughter into it but not Noades' mum? It just a bit hypocritical Of course Ron Nodes mother has presumably been dead for quite some time, and he's not really been involved with Palace for some 15 plus years. Whats really objectionable, is why would Moyes be upset at his daughter shagging Wilf, that he'd sideline a promising career? Is it cause he is black?

I have said in other posts throwing coins is wrong and so is airplane gestures but at football you WILL get chants about EVERYTHING - if there are reports about wilf shagging Moyes' daughter, there will be abuse and songs about it, I would never expect anything else. You say calling her a slut is OTT but were all for a song about him shagging her? Which basically is implying she is a slut anyway? Call me a muppet, say what you want but you sir are a hypocrite who's now getting upset because he got found out. Let's just leave it there.
