It was the lumping the whole of the HF together as a vile lot of Ultras, with no knowledge of the history of this group that annoyed me. Who knows, it may well be down to the likes of him constantly banging on about us being stripey nigels, that may have steered the group into adding a hostility towards the opposition, aside their fantastic support towards our own team.

Couldn't give a flying f*** what that moron thinks, especially as he makes his assumptions without knowing any facts.
As far as I know the coins came from the back of block B and the silly gestures and antics aimed towards the corner kicker by the boys at the front are just that, silly antics, no one is in danger. The abuse is probably the same as at any other ground in the country, so why are our boys being picked out. I'm sure Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany will be politely applauded at OT in a few weeks time.
Hopefully the coin pricks were caught on cctv and will be banned, because that is and always will be unacceptable.

Thats the exact reason that it does wind me up though DM, and its not only Durham to be fair. They look at the HF and have a pre-conceived idea of what they are all about that is miles wide of the mark.

Maybe it makes no difference, and I couldn't be at the game so I didn't see, but were the coins thrown AT Rooney, i.e. to try to injure him, or thrown on the ground near him to imply he was money grabbing? I would have thought the latter quite reasonable and the former bang out of order.

So are our fans being accused of doing something that they didn't?

Should have thrown loads and loads of Monopoly money at him, that would have worked a treat.

By the way, when our fans chucked coins at the Brighton keeper at the Amex, even though he was a grade 1 tw*t, I absolutely hated it. Would love to see that sort of behaviour stamped out.

Always surprises me that folk have money to throw away.

What happened to the coins?

Did they go to charity?

Rooney is I vile tw@t, earns a vile amount of money, has a vile hair job & does vile things to old prostitutes let alone playing for a vile club. Maybe the vile things being said to him were just home truths? Anyway f*** that c*** Durham, I'd be more worried if he had something nice to say!

Adrian Durham is just an angry, frustrated Ginger Chimp.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Man Utd in general are scum of football. Money buys everything, a global business who given half the chance would join some super break away league without a second thought for the clubs left behind. Except any kind of physical abuse, including coins, they got what they deserved.

That sounds rather like the "women who wear short skirts deserve to get raped" defence
