Just take each game as it comes. TP has to get Palace a bit more aggressively. No point in the cat and mouse like saturday.

Totally agree!!!!!> If we are going to survive it will be all about scoring goals so we have got to go for them and be aggressive in attack and let the chips fall where they may. Not sure what permutations of strikers Pulis can make but he has got to get us into a different gear otherwise its lights out.

Are you 2 seriously moaning about not scoring against UTD. De Gea pulled off 2 great saves against us. As long as we score one goal and don't concede we get 3 points like we would if we scored 4 and conceded 3. We score enough to get our points we have done under Pulis. If we go all out attack and try to outscore teams we will go down. The comment In bold I disagree with completely because like I said above we score enough to win games and defend well enough not to concede which = 3 points. If we were conceding every game I would agree with you but we simply aren't.

But of late we are,I gave up on doing 1st goalscorers because of this System.
We lack goals 18 which is the worst in the prem I don't mean be all gun-ho,but get the bloody team up the pitch and lets start shooting and creating more chances.

And dont bring on c.j who could'hit a barn door !!

Advance ye red/blue!!!

Ah thats better.

GOALS!!!! It's the problem we've had all season ...getting the darn ball in the back of the opposition's net!!! Murray and Ince are intelligent footballers with an eye for goal and will get better each game they play. I just hope we don't run out of games before they truly sparkle?

Chamakh will play his part as will Jerome (lively and unlucky not to score last weekend?) ...and Gayle knows where the goal is but probably needs more than 5 minutes on the pitch.

Sunderland, Cardiff and Fulham are our six pointers and we must not lose them. Tbh, I don't know where the points are coming from but we need some soon or we'll be back in the bottom three looking up rather than down.

It's hard to say where points will come from as there'll probably be some surprises in there but some momentum would really help now. Swansea who've just played and lost in Europe have got to be ripe for a minimum of 1 point and saints at home has to be 1 we can win. A minimum of 4 points in the bag by next Saturday puts us at 30 and psychologically that's a good landmark to reach. We then probably only need to win 2 more which is very possible, and pick up a cheeky draw or 2 and we're golden.

It will come down to the Fulham game though won't it ? Because this is Palace... !

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue

We are currently on 26 points and if we want to guarantee survival I think we have to guarantee 40 points.
What can we expect, I think:

Swansea Away 1 point (good feeling)
Southampton Home 3 points (Southampton look quite poor lately)
Sunderland away 3 Points (Dead important think we will win)
Newcastle away 0 points (cant see us beating them)
Chelsea Home 0 Points (cant see it but you never know)
Cardiff away 3 Points (We could win this quite easily)
Villa Home 3 Points (I reckon we will win Villa will struggle to break us down and are poor defensively)
West Ham away 1 Point (Good Feeling)
Man City Home 0 points (No chance but you never know)
Liverpool Home 0 points (same as above)
Fulham away 3 points (We should win this)

That is 17 points and that would see us just make the 43 points.

I thank that's being optimistic - our away record is notoriosuly bad. This is what I honestly think -
Swansea a - 0 points
Southampton (h) - 1 point
Sunderland a - 0 points
Newcastle a - 0 points
chelsea (h) - 0 points
Cardiff a - 3 points
villa (h) - 3 points
west ham a - 1 point
Man city (h) - 0 points
Liverpool (h) - 1 point
Fulham a - 3 points
Everton a - 0 points
That leaves us with 38 points. It's going to be mighty close.

Some off Swansea's players looked on a downer arfter their Europa cup exit against Napoli.

Sunday could be an excellent time to play them.

Steve Bruce thinks 38 will be enough for survival this season.

I think he's right (actually I think 36 will be probably be enough) but 38 will be safety. And we're probably better placed than ever before to get 12 points by the end of the season. We just need our form to hold steady and we'll stay up.

When a player steps up to take a penalty the goal can look very wide or very narrow, depending on who you support. At the moment 38/40 points looks a long way away. The gap between us and the next side above seems a lot more than the gap between us and the club below. Confidence and nerve are what's required by evryone. Best to take each game as it comes, try to exact every point available. That feels easier!

The main thing, it is in our hands! we are not playing catch up, we are not cut adrift, just need to keep picking points up, home and away. Starting Sunday
