Surely he was only trying to undo the total balls up he had set up to begin with?

You can look at this way, however I would like to include Pulis as part of the second half response.

I thought it seemed very deliberate from Pulis to change our approach at half time, and the plan from the beginning was to sit deep for a half, and then press higher later into the game. It's the right way to play against a team like Swansea, and a worked successfully.

To play as open a game as we did in the second half, for 90 minutes against Swansea, would've resulted in a hammering IMO.

Pulis got it spot on, and is as responsible as the players for a very good point away from home.

Is Pulis alright again now?

No, negative, beyond belief and 10 years behind the times.
Halfway through next season watching this s*** you will be slitting your wrists.
On a lighter note, Murray has as many goals as Jerome now...

I bet it'll be in the Premiership though.

Quite.

And I'll take having to win at Fulham all day long. Was there yesterday and there was zero passion in the stands and not much more on the pitch. They are down.

I think we'll come out having a real go second half. I'll reserve my judgement til the end of the game. I didn't expect us to win this but as usual I think we planned for a 0-0 HT score line which didn't happen. NOw Pulis needs to be much more positive. 45 mins of extreme effort and attacking play needed. COYP!

Well my comment above came true. Well done lads and TP a decent point away at a very good side.

Seems to think it wasn't a penalty, it was quite clearly a penalty, Garry.

It quite clearly wasn't a penalty but given some of the dire decisions that have gone against us I couldn't give a monkeys

Felt like a penalty to me.

Mind you though I was far too ecstatic to give a f*** in the first place, so might need re-watch tonight.

Chico Flores is a c*** anyway so I don't really care. Karma for diving and dramatising to get people sent off throughout the season.

Deffo clipped him outside, not a lot in it and can see why Jasper Carrott gave it but like I said, think Spurs, Man Utd, Liverpool and the atrocious decisions that went against us - who cares

Monk is just deflecting flak as he thought the game was won and took off their best defender by miles and put on some clown who noused it up and who's mistake got their second best defender got sent off

I had big doubts about TP as I work with a Stoke fan who told me we would end up divided between the TP supporters who are happy to stay up at all costs and those who wouldn't be able to stand any more anti football. I'm probably more on the purist side of the debate so let's say he wasn't my first choice... But I'm warming to him. He's proper smart. Game plan was perfect. Since Feb 8th when we beat WBA and they stuffed Cardiff they have played 6 games and we've played 2. He knew they would be knackered but also that you can play 45 minutes of football even if your knackered. So I suspect the plan was to stay in the game and then take the game to them as they tired. We did exactly that and only shame was we didn't get the second goal it looked like we'd get, but being honest I think Tony and all the rest of us would have took the point today. It's a long way from the football lesson we took from them at Selhurst. IF we win next week we'll be on 30 with 10 to play. We'd all have taken that at the start of the season never mind after the debacle of the first quarter of the season...

Oh yeah no doubt about it, definitely one of the smartest managers I have seen. Tactics are superb. I bet that was Tony's game plan all along, sit back and let Swansea do all the work, knacker the hell out of a tired Swansea then second half launch a complete onslaught.

It worried us, fans, but all that time he knew exactly what he was doing and the game was falling into his hands.

He made some poor decisions and showed his inexperience, understandably. All to our benefit! As regards the Pen, it wasn't but our time was due and Murray would have scored if he wasn't hacked down so fair is fair.

The penalty was debatable - I think it was, however, it was never a red card as there was a covering defender
