Willo makes quite a good point about Ledley being anonomous, but in all truth, most of Palace's players were for much of the game. More intend on stopping than starting! But sometimes, like a ref or goalkeeper, non-mentions mean steady job. Like Dickyo, when this type of player is not in the side it then notices. Palace are too slow as a springboard for counter attack, not pushing forward enough players. But when it was getting serious and Palace had to do something they just pushed Swansea aside and should have won. another 15 minutes and Palace would have scored at least once again. Come on TP more faith please.

EVERYONE had a bad 1st half yesterday.

Ledley played much better in the 2nd half in Parr's position and was one of the reasons we started to dominate.

I loved it when Ledley did the Cardiff Ayatollah thing to the Swans after the game......LOL

I like Parr it's just his not quite good enough in the premiership,we spring an attack spread it wide to Parr he nearly always plays it back into the middle rather than going towards the byline and crossing it.
I Think he is lacking in confidence in his own ability at this level

The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!

I don't recall stating he was "Anonymous".I DID however say he lacked a certain degree of pace but complimented him on his other aspects of his game.

Hence Parr embarrassingly swapping shirts with Rooney after the Man U game, like he's a tourist in this league just here to collect souvenirs.

Ledley will be fine, just needs time to adjust to this level and shake off his injury.

Joe Ledley allows TP to switch the formation based on how the game is developing. He can play equally well as full back or defensive midfield AND he can score goals - 10 for Celtic last season. I don't think we have any other player that is as versatile.

Wardy???? And moxey has played goal keeper, left back, winger and up front

How many goals have Moxey and Ward scored between them this season?

The point is that Ledley gives serious options (not just emergency cover) in attack as well as defence.

Sorry but our midfield on sunday was pedestrian with no flair or creativity what so ever!

Jury is still out on Ledley , Dann and Ince, not sure they are any better than what we had and dont see why they've jumped ahead of Gabbidon, bannon and Bolasie in the pecking order to be honest

Dann was one of our best players at the weekend.

He is a brilliant player, never looked out of place when playing in the Champions League against Barca, etc.

Madness how our fans are being negative about this level of player after 2 games.

Embarrassing.

Not worried about Ledley or Dann fitting in at all.

The one I have reservations about is Ince, but hopefully he can change my mind

The fans always need a scapegoat if things are going wrong. First Moxey, then KG now they will pick on the new guys. Its ridiculous really. Jedi was the worst play on the pitch but he is of course immune to criticism.
