Our ball control and passing were poor. We wasted a free kick just outside the box by letting Jedi take it. Murray hardly had any service inside the Southampton box.

Tough game. Southampton are a good side especially when you give Lallana time. They were defensively strong and never really give us a chance, one shot on target was it?

I have said that I thought we would get no points in March leaving us in the bottom 3 going into April, we got one point already so it's better than I expected. Jedinak, Puncheon and KG were simply dreadful and didn't keep the ball at all - you cant even call it misplaced passes as a 'pass' infers there was some effort to find a team mate at least..it was like watching 8 year olds just fling a boot at the ball
