can anybody tell me why jedi takes pretty much all our FK's in a dangerous position.

hes a great player and a great captain, but he shouldnt be allowed anywhere near a dead ball.

surely we have better options, and he would be better used to break up the wall or in the box in these situations!

I'm not too sure about him as he does too many mistakes in games.

When losing you need to think what the best option is instead of blasting the ball over the stadium.

let me be clear, he would be one of the 1st names on my teamsheet allday long.

its his constant free kick taking that irks me...hes not good at them...his passing is suspect more often than not, and i can excuse that...but you dont give somebody with his ball playing skills direct shots at goal from free kicks.

its a lot like i think puncheon should be fined every time he shoots outside the area, as everybody knows its not going (in reality) anywhere near the goal, and to his credit hes stopped that recently.

Wow if you have those 3 negative points about a player that would be on of the first on your teamsheet, what must you think of the rest ?
Although for the record i agree with your 3 negative points and he wouldn't be anywhere near my 1st choice

I'd like to see a midfield duo of Ledley and Guedioura, just to see if we could cope without Jedi.

everybody knows jedi's strengths and weaknesses...his strengths far outweigh his weaknesses.

and as a poster mooted the idea of dropping him from our DMF for guerdiola...youve gotta be kidding me!

Yes of course it is ridiculous. His passing and shooting are suspect so he should be in the box for dead ball free kicks. Also Ledley taking corners ; he should be in the box.

His strengths would possibly outweigh his weaknesses if we could score ie square passes across our back line have cost us a few goal already this season and two that spring to mind at Man Utd and Soton were both the opening goals in 2-0 defeats

I agree,to take a free kick over a wall you need to be able to make the ball dip once over the wall.Jedi has not got that skill,he needs to stick to doing what we all know what he is good at.

In other Jedi related stuff, why is such a potent heading force being used as the one to piss off the keeper. Surely someone like Punch or Bolasie should be doing that job?

I've heard Gayle can take a cracking free kick. Shame we haven't seen more of him this season - although I can understand the reasons why.
