Think yesterday highlighted how good this guy is now for us We missed is skill in build up play. Big blow for us when he is absent.

Secondly KG. yes I know other threads but beyond belief why he gets ahead of Bannan. I feel like going to Beckenham and confronting Pullis what the issue is coz there has got to be one. We would also have someone who runs at oppenents back four and can deliver corners/set pieces etc. We were woefull in these areas yesterday.

End of

I was about to start a thread along these lines and then spoted this.

I couldn't agree more on the Chamakh comments. We really missed him Saturday, his work rate is phenominal! He's like having an extra midfielder/defender at times.

Many non Palace supporting friends see "Chamakh-position striker" and the few goals scored as he isn't a quality player because they don't watch him week in week out.

For me he could be key to keeping us up and the sooner he is back in the starting 11 the better!

i think Chamakh is a marmite player. Either you totally love or totally hate him. Personally, i am confused.

Apart from the mistimed and costly challenge on Evra against Man United I totally love him! He's got the physical presence and technical ability that can make you see why Arsenal saw something in him!

I know how you're getting s
confused. Marmite is well made and cleverly cooked which you may not enjoy eating. That's opinion of taste not opinion of quality. It's the same with Chamakh, no doubt well made and clever, good quality you do not enjoy watching. What do you want in the team, good quality or different style? Once you've sorted that out, no probs. Simple.

How do you know he cooks marmite? Still it will give him something to do during the summer when hopefully he will not be in brazil.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.
