KG was better then Jedi yesterday. Just because it is Jedi does not make him immune to criticism the guy is a s*** footballer. When he takes set pieces that f***s me off to.

You do know who's who on the pitch right. KG's the big black fella, the one who's not as good as the funny haired white fella he plays next to. Just incase you're mixing the two up.

Jedi was not good on Saturday (and has not had a great season). He looks jaded to me. KG was absolutely abysmal: he offered us nothing. I would have subbed him after 25 mins.

so you quite clearly didn't notice that our midfield went from - a minor presence to absolutely NOTHING when he came off. Easy scapegoat. Not the best player we have but answer me this.. why does EVERY manager we have start him when fit? Some people like STATS and we've seen his name pop up in the worst midfielders. Not denying that.. BUT If you want a proper stat - go and look at games won with KG in the team last season and this season, and games won when he's not - INTERESTING to say the least!
Brighton semi final playoff - he was immense and catalyst to victory.. Short memories around here, that is if indeed some were (not directed at anyone in particular btw before I'm misunderstood)

Jedi was tired after int'l 90 mins and hasn't been at his best all season imo.. BUT still we all know he's got it and break up play is still pretty decent... Just takes too long on the ball (as does KG!!).. I think Ledley looked lively and won a lot of tackles (when Webb didn't blow up for a foul)..

Anyway, we weren't at our best but even our performance wasn't as bad as Webb and his officials.. 2 onside off sides and (when you see it from the fan video from Main Stand touchline) certain red, Clyne was getting nowhere near Yannick..

That's my thoughts anyway

And for the record, not 100% defending KG and personally think Barry Bannan gets stuck in and can pass and take set pieces.

Ledley, Jedi Bannan Midfield for me.

Erm did I say Clyne tackled YB... NOOO because it was Lovren, thought that was obvious to all already, obviously not in your case.. My point exactly, some not quite reading and understanding... A lot of people were saying Clyne was covering hence why no red card..

*Slaps head in amazement*

Because if you think about it even more, then me saying Clyne got nowhere near YB would almost incite me suggesting YB dived which I certainly am not!!! So in Layman's terms; quite clearly suggesting NC was nowhere near catching YB IF Lovren hadn't brought him down.

Yes, this is something I've been thinking for a while. Too many passes going astray. And as for his dead ball efforts...the less said about that the better!

I'm afraid to say I don't think he's quite up to it at this level???

Watching games recently I had a look at where Jedi's passes mainly go and it is mainly to a Palace player but he has cut down on the long ball ones recently. Two of him in the side and we would be a place or two higher in the table.

10 like him in the side and Palace would win the league! Good, let's go and buy the other 9 then! Or should we write realistic things?

His passing is terrible, can't take a free kick & gives away silly fouls but his tackling, winning the ball back & strength in midfield is what we need. I think we're a much better team with him than without. It should be Jedi & Ledley in midfield. KG isn't good enough i'm afraid.

Agreed with this

Ok he does play with plenty of blood and guts and he is without a doubt a leader on the pitch but he is error prone and does look tired. Perhaps a spell on the bench with SOK and Ledley as the holding midfield.

Mind you if Jedinak could pass, score freekicks and score more he'd still be in Turkey playing for Galatasaray or Fenerbache so be careful what you wish for.

I dont think the man is a weak link, but i do think he is looking very tired and jaded.
he needs a rest he has played every minute of every league game.
We definitely need him but i can see us losing him to injury or suspension soon and that would be awful.
Id like to see jedinak rotated a bit more, he is sitting very very deep at the moment almost a 3rd centre back and thus we have no support for the likes of bolaise or puncheon when they do get forward.
He is giving away silly free kicks, he cant pass for a toffee and as for dead balls....why does he even attempt take them?
Give him rest put ledley in as holding midfielder, play bannon and kg infront of him and let bannon do his thing...
we need to start giving other teams something to worry about.

Response to Finchley Eagle...

I didn't realise it was played at The New Den but it has made me chuckle. Must do my homework next time! Perhaps the traffic was bad!!
