Goodness some of you are so precious. Today I have read very negative posts about Jedinak, Puncheon and KG. I have also seen negativity recently related to Chamakh, Bolasie, Thomas, Jerome, Ince, Ledley and Parr.

At the same time players who cannot get in to the team, Gayle and Bannan in particular, are receiving all the plaudits. Perhaps we should play them regardless of what our manager thinks so that they too can get negative comments the next day.

Whatever my personal opinion on individual players is the moaners need to get a grip. We are presently NOT in the bottom three and we have a realistic chance of staying in this league. Give our 25 man squad to any other manager and we would already be relegated.

We are punching well above our weight. Every player is giving one hundred percent but players make mistakes and sometimes, especially at this level, those mistakes are very costly indeed.

Look at where we were four to five months ago and where we are now. Praise the performance of the players over the season so far and push them on for the next ten games. And, please, some of you, stop being so precious.

Don't really think it is precious to state the obvious: that Cameron J is a waste, the team would not suffer with KD on the bench and Bannan is worth a place in the starting 11 once in a while. But yes, let's get behind our beloved Eagles for our 10 remaining games whoever TP picks.
