Enough with all this counter attacking bull. We dont even do that! Based on todays performance all we did was hoof it back to Sunderland to attack us again. The ball hardly went to our attacking players, and when it did the flick on that never work never worked again! Surprise surprise.

Sort it out Pulis coz drawing the rest of our games probably wont be enough. Just play 4-4-2, we might have a chance of scoring the ala second half of Swansea away.

Actually it will. 37 points will more than likely do the job

My thoughts exactly cols

His best game was his debut, which is when he played off Chamakh, with Puncheon and Bolasie either side. Even then I didn't think he had a great game, but he broke into the box and got a goal which is what we have missed all season.

Hasn't played there since.

This post is probably the most accurate. When Chamakh is available again and/or we play with the intention of 3 points rather than 1, Ince will be suited to Pulis' plans on the day. Until then, he isn't.

Unfortunately we often need to play this season how we did yesterday. When we couldn't buy a point under IH we needed to play like it. Now we're playing like it and doing just enough to stay out of the bottom 3, bottoms are squeak squeaking.

As long as we play aiming for 3 points for a good few games we're in with a shout. Pulis is no fool, he knows this.

Nope, we picked up an away point and kept Sunderland 3 points behind. I'm happy with that plus Ince behind Murray / Jerome doesn't work. Shows how much Chamack is missed. Perhaps Pullis should try Guidlearo (misspelt) in that position for now?

A good point agreed which could have been nil points had Borini been an inch lower on a couple of occassions, had we attacked a little more and created something for GM, who knows it could have been three points.

Sunderland were a poor side who we didnt test defensively anywhere near enough on Saturday imho

Its all well and good keeping Sunderland 3 points behind us but they have two games in hand - who is to say they wont win one or both ?

There seems a huge over reliance on the HOL at the moment that others will lose games - thats a lot of chickens being counted.

Fulham, WBA and Villa all picked up 3 valuable points to either stretch away, over take or creep closer to us this weekend so our draw didnt really have a huge value other than just keep our noses above water - what a win would have done is beyond measure - it would have rendered Sunderlands game in hands useless, Equalled Fulham and WBA's results to maintain that gap and with Cardiff losing cruelly (and unluckily) put clear water between us.

If we are going to the likes of Sunderland determined not to lose thats great, it would be nice if we also played some football at some point that indicated we might create something and possibly score a gaol and heaven forbid win.

Playing for away draws is a dangerous game as its not likley we are going to pick up wins at home

People really need to manage their expectations. We played a relegation rival at their place and came away with a point after playing poorly. Borini, Johnson, Fletcher, Bridcutt, Bardsley and Brown would walk into our first team. Why would you expect to turn them over? They have a poor home record, we're poor away. We kept a 3 point buffer against 18th and keep in touch with the 5 teams above us.

Cast your mind back a few years to the last time we were in this situation in the Championship when Paul Hart saved us from the drop playing exactly the same way and getting exactly the same criticism. It'll go to the wire but we'd be down far sooner should we change our style now.

I'm with palace chick on this one. Before the game most people would have taken the draw. Better for us than Sunderland, a long way to travel and they are fighting for their lives.

If we are lucky and get an unexpected win or two, just maybe we could have games at the end of the season (19 April should be the watershed) that don't matter when we can change the menu. Right now keep on grinding out the no score bores, happy with that. If we average one point a game we will be safe, don't need 40 points this season.

Fulham probably have the easiest run-in so I have a nasty feeling it will come down to the final game though, wasn't that always written in the stars?

Dont get me wrong a point I am happy with but watching the game unfold against a poor side (quote players names like Borini, Bridcutt, Johnson et al all you like - if they were playing well they wouldnt have been relegation fodder all year) we offered very very little (as we did against Southampton) and thats a worry and more criminally a wasted opportunity.

Even being slightly more adventurous and testing the dodgy heart of their defence would have been something - at one point they might as well have taken Mannone off
