I found Southampton utterly dull. We had one shot from about 20 years straight at the keeper all game. Today, until last five minutes we sat back and did nothing but either head or hoof the ball clear.

As I have said, i think TP is the man to keep us up and don't think anyone else would have done. I will always be grateful for that but long term, look forward to someone else and a bit more excitement in a few years.

I'm pretty sure in a couple of years time if TP is still in charge, we're safe but playing same way, 99% of this forum would want a change- just like the Stoke fans did.

Does Pulis not understand that Murray needs delivery to score goals? We have got Barry Bannan picking splinters out his backside. His delivery is among the best in the league. At one point he was being touted to replace Scholes. C'mon, Anthony.

If we stay up this season what does anyone expect? One possibly two more seasons then the inevitable relegation and meltdown.

Stylistically it's probably the most boring football we've ever played, however due to the exciting, s*** or bust nature of a relegation scrap and playing teams with better players week in week out, I would say this season has been fascinating.

The unspeakably one paced, mediocrity of Peter Taylor's side will go a long wong before it's surpassed in terms of arse numbing tediousness. Scow croft and Dicov up front. Mark Kennedy walking round the centre circle for 90mins. Stuart Green on the wing...

I don't have a major problem with the style of football assuming it suits the situation we are in - it does at the moment. My concern is that our tactics have regressed since the initial weeks of Pulis. We now seem to be home or away, sit back and frustrate the opposition and try to nick a goal at the end. Against the better teams that is fair enough, but I fear we will fall frustratingly short if that is the best we can do against the teams around us (including Sunderland). We need minimum 10 points now and where they are coming from I simply don't know if we play the same tactics against all. However I'm not a Manager and I haven't kept teams in the Prem like Pulis - hopefully I'll be proved wrong. Best thing we can do is trust in Tony and continue to be the best fans in the world - buckle up it will be a roller-coaster!
