I thought we only play defensive against "the big boys"
Apparently not. We let every team to control the game and wait in the back praying for Saint Jules to save us.
How are we going to score goals and save the season?
We need to sell back those 16 players that Ian H. purchased and buy 2 strikers.
Jules, Ledley and our fans were amazing today.

In interests of balance, please post our possession stats under holloway. Or just wind it in. Your choice.

We had more possession under Holloway, largely as a result of having more than one kick off a game.

Under Holloway, average possession was 44% including the only game where we have had 50% (Stoke away).

Under Millen (including Hull as Pulis was only appointed that day) it was 41%.

Under Pulis it is 35%.

Feck possession it's about results.

When a new man comes in he has to be given the freedom to run things his way.....Pulis is proven and has done a fantastic job so far.

Listening to all this Pulis might keep us in the division but we could be playing more attacking or attractive football is like listening to Labour say....The economy might be improving but if we were in charge it would have involved less cuts and it would have improved much quicker.....Mmmmm.

Bird in the hand and two in the bush comes to mind.

I wonder what the board thinks. Was TP told,'we just need a manager to keep the club in the prem'. Or we need a manager to organise the side? And are they happy with the way the team is playing? The crunch is if the team are relegated the only style inculcated is that of negatism. Is this sufficient to gain promotion? One thing for certain, a defensive Palace in the prem will sell more tickets than in the championship. That may swing it.

A more important stat.

Pulis 20 points

Millen 4 Points

Holloway 3 Points

So Pulis' stats are better than Holloway even though it's dull as hell I guess it's worth it

surely the one thing that shows is that possession isn't important as we've collected more points per game under pulis, then millen, then holloway. The complete opposite to the possession stats.

Messi, you're good, but you can't hit a ball like ambrose
