How about 'time to drop the advertiser' from these pages because of piss-poor ill researched articles and inflammatory statements ?

How does that work, do we get to write a retort or reply. I'd hazard that columns are about stiring controversy in order to stimulate interest and seem relevent, rather than engaging in debate (which requires equal expressive parties of different view points). I'd sack them all off, 90% of columns in newspapers are just trash talk and opinion passed off as informed content, to feed the writers need to appear relevent or more important than they are. Opinions aren't worth the paper people scrawl them on.

I'm afraid I agree , he ain't quick enough for the way we play, and I'm yet to see anything that tells me he is premiership class. Would he get in any other premiership side? Jerome maybe a s*** finisher but he caused defenders problems with his pace, strength and movement, and he and chamakh worked well together. Personally I'd start with jerome, get him to run the defence ragged for an hour or so then bring on Murray Maybe stick Jerome up front, and play Murray in behind him then. But if you've got a play who has a proven goal scoring record, you have to play them. Even when they're going through a dry spell - because the only way they get out of it is by playing.

You could put Luis Suarez up front for Palace and at 30% possession even he would find it hard to score. With the midfield 40 yards away this also redefines the term "Lone Striker". We are just not set up to score. If i was an opposing manager I would just tell the full backs to keep the overlaps to a minimum so not to get caught on the break. I think if we set out to attack from the outset and push the defence and midfield up this would catch the opposing team off guard straight away as we are becoming to predictable.....
