"The spectacles are particularly rose-tinted because Jonny is bringing “a creative spark” to a midfield which has been painfully lacking all season. “Jonny’s one of the few players we have at the moment who seems to have his mind on attacking the opposition and playing clever balls forward rather than sideways. He was also very good at tracking back so I can see why Mick is a fan of him.”

We know that marriage is not an option, but we are greatly enjoying the romance while it lasts."

I continue to be frustrated that we never got the chance to see what he could do in the Premier - if he had been given a run and not made the grade then fair enough, but as it was, partly through injury admittedly, he never got the opportunity to prove his worth one way or the other.

Good for him. Needs to be playing regularly, really wish it was for us though.

Yeah... good for johnny... he always gave 110% whenever he played and there was always a buzz when he played. Think he lifted the fans and sparked the players too with his pace and attacking play.

We don't need him for the rest of this season. Bannan can play the same role but doesn't get any game time.

Although the game before last, our Jonny was holding onto the ball for far too long going sideways on the half way line, when he lost the ball and within seconds was in the back of the Ipswich net( the ball, not Jonny!). Hopefully he'll realise his potential with us in the next season or so. Ollie's Dad,Ash.

We need him back now

Bored of defending most of the game.

What for and to do what? Bannon is a better player so we don't need JW. At the minute he is playing at his level, hope he stays fit and plays every week and comes back to us a better player.
