Don't see why you can't appreciate Freedman and Pulis in their own ways.

Pulis has done a brilliant job to give us a chance this season. That was what he was employed to do, and he may well do it.

Freedman though, from the mess he took over, created one hell of a team. Honestly, just look at his signings, incredible. Murray on a free, Jedi and Ward for pennies, and developing players like Zaha, Joniesta, Clyne etc. The football we were playing just before he left was the best stuff I've ever seen Palace play, and there was a real feeling of collectiveness. Shame it had to end, but in some ways it wouldn't be Palace if it didn't.

I personally would rather be in the Championship playing good, attacking football and bringing through youngsters than in the Premiership playing boring football with boring football. But that isn't to knock Pulis, he's got a job to do and is doing it very well. But he's not, and never will be, one of us.

We are a decent striker away from being a mid table side. I thought we were excellent saturday against Newcastle , until Pulis decided to play for the point, which he had every right to do seeing as all the results were going in our favour.

Pulis has a job to do and thats survival! end of!

Pulis was brought in specifically to keep Palace in the Premiership. Apparently he will receive a handsome bonus for achieving it.

He's in no position to '' build a club '' at the moment. His complete focus is the remaining fixtures.

Yes, it is reminiscent of Freedman's early days as manager. He too had to put a stop to the previous rot by making us harder to beat.

Current tactics make for a frustrating watch, but I think they are the most prudent given the fact we don't have a fully fit striker capable of scoring the goals we need, or indeed the midfield capable of providing a decent service.

As in a number of games this season, you could make a case for us deserving something from the Newcastle match, but as is usual we didn't take any of the few chances we created.
