TP is on the brink of saving us. Who would have thought that just after IH left? But, the price we're paying is that we will probably never experience the likes of BB, O'Keefe, Joniesta and Gayle featuring regularly under the former Stoke manager. That is a shame. I really really hope he still has no relegation on his CV after this season, but for 2014/15 I would love to see a)a different direction from TP or b) someone that gives our smaller players a decent chance in the first team. And please, send Cameron packing - the sooner the better. PL is not about chasing the ball only - his decision making storming towards the Newcastle goal with the ball at his feet and two players almost free on each side. And the mega chance just fizzled away thru his poor, poor effort. Rant over! Bring on Chelski...

Was worried when he went on loan and thought we lack any creativity.

Most palace fans know how good he is but Pulis hansnt given him a chance. Ince is being given the same treatment

Kiss your 2m bonus goodbye TP

All this crap abt not being good enough for premier league is bollocks. How the fcuk do you know!?

To be honest you've been saying we'll go down since the start of the season for a whole variety of reasons - this is just the latest ill considered opinion. I personally just think you're a troll, trying to stir it up.

Absolutely this. I reckon even the Samaritans would hang up on Maxi.

Most certainly not European.

Where would you play JW in this side Maxi? I don't disagree that it's a shame to see him loaned out, just not sure where you see him in this current side increasing our chances of goals.

At attacking mid/behind the striker, he isn't going to be tenacious enough for this side. There's too much of a gap between Jedinak and KG/Ledley. I could see Jonny getting isolated too much and not providing for the striker. For me, the best player we have for that position is Chamakh. Not his 'natural' position maybe, but he impresses me regularly with hold up play and ability to find a decent pass in a very pressurised part of the field.

Problem was, Johnny Williams wasn't making a huge difference back when he was playing for us, and he'd taken a few knocks. Better he gets first team action and confidence, than 20 mins a week if were losing.

He is making a huge difference at ipswich because he is starting and a manager has faith in him. Pulis did neither

And because he is in the league below playing in a play-off chasing side.

Wtf? Check out the player ratings. [Link]

How does that disprove anything I said?

Because your judging a player who hasnt been given a chance by pulis! Your letting the premier league cloud your judgement. Three MOTM's in a row. Derby trying to catch the top two and he gets 9.5 rating. Thats pretty conclusive form. Why are you so cynical?

Because when he has played this season, he's been thoroughly ineffective, as he has been numerous times in the Championship over the last few years.

Let him flourish in the Championship for the rest of the year, and we can reap the rewards in the future. I think it would be genuinely harmful to his progression as a player to recall him now.

Your not interested in his progression because he has always been thecreal deal. You just cant accept that Pulis has misjudged his ability

But he hasn't. He's always had a hell of a lot of potential, and played excellently in patches, but never particularly consistently.

Rubbish. He has NOT been giving a consistent run under Pulis. In fact he probably hasnt started under him.

Ok, but try this, if you can, think back to the 50+ other times that Williams HAS played for us, and judge him based on that. Not just the fact that he isn't in the team at the moment.

Every time i have seen Williams he always looks dangerous and is fully commited. Read this match report [Link]

Wayne Andrews was fully committed...

I'll ask again, how many goals has he scored for Palace?

TP is on the brink of saving us.

Or perhaps on the brink of taking us down. It's really NOT looking good for us at all given our position and the fact that we don't score goals.

Pulis took over when we were in dire straits, 19th with 7 pts and it was always going to be a massive 'ask' to keep us up.

Anyone got a link to see williams goal from last night? A 30 yarder apparently.

If he carries on this way he'll be back with us after his month loan......just like Pulis planned all along. Genius really.

He needs to be in our team. What is with people's obsession with appearances and goals? Williams didn't score or set up a goal against Watford away last year but there is no doubt that he won us the game.

The reality is that our team is struggling to get the ball in the final third, Williams has that ability to carry the ball through the centre, win free kicks and bring attacking players on the ball further up the pitch. It is a no brainer he should come back.

Worse case scenario is he stays at Ipswich, we get relegated, they get promoted and Jonnys a goner.

I have always said JW is a gem of a player and will prove to be the best player we have ever produced - my all time favourite, Kenny Sansom, included.

He is still a young man, learning his craft and trying to put together a string of games. Ipswich have given him the chance to do that and JW has gone there and is proving himself.

To say TP does not rate him is just plain wrong. The lad has just signed a new five year deal and TP has made it clear he will be a big part of his future plans.

Sometime next season we will start to see what JW is really all about. Those who do not believe this lad is one heck of a talent will be eating their words.

You may well be right James, providing he can stay free of injuries. However the OP was about him this season and I think he's not ready yet. He needs to get a run of games, stay free from injuries and get some assists and goals on the board which will prepare him for next season.

So far, so good. Let's see if that's still the same come the end of the season - I certainly hope it is.

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
Mile Jedinak

I'd love to see him back but only if he was actually going to play games.

Also is it any coincidence that he is getting rave reviews now he is playing in the centre and not stuck out wide to accommodate favourites and big players
