In theory it's a great idea, but I fear it's a bit 'Brighton'.

staying up for a second season, there is NOTHING brighton about that.

As for wearing a baseball cap, you will see tons of people doing that on a sunny day. When sitting in the Arthur, you need some shade from the sun anyway.

A fair point, added to that the big cigars and champagne bottles.

If it is sunny enough I will wear a cap, just to protect my chrome dome

What can this strange device be?
When I touch it it gives forth a sound.

You beat me to it. Those horrible felt copies. Wore them back in the 70s then again in 2007.

Some people don't really understand tongue in cheek humour, even though I am pretty sure it was invented in South London.

Everyone wearing a cap because the manager does? Very very very muggy and that's why it will never happen. Almost as muggy IH wearing a docker's cap or any Bromley, Orpington or Chislehurst twonk wearing one as well. (gusset doesn't wear one does he?)

A really muggy and tv craving thing to do. Akin to free Chelsea flags for the Hampshire side of pitch seats and plastic clappers for Brighton and Norwich fans. Include the Liverpool banners for every f***ing game in the last 30-40 years and the recent ones celebrating the league before City hopefully win it being another team who can win it after winning all their remaining games.

maybe you have only joined us palace fans recently ? it strikes me that you do not really appreciate how massive Tony's achievement has been ?

never mind, go back to sitting in the top corner and scowling at everybody. I will be wearing my baseball cap to occlude your view from my eyes. Sorry to have bothered you.

Strange comment there PD... I can assure you Rudi has been here a while, knows his stuff, and can probably very well appreciate Pulis' achievements without wearing a baseball cap.

Yep, I remember an empty Selhurst in the rain, the hope in the Spring, hop on and off 68 bus, Rossi's Refreshments and his burgers served in tracing paper, the skinhead at the back of The Arfur with the loudest voice in several boroughs and his willingness to face anybody. This is still, a muggy, embarrassing, cringeworthy idea.

Clappers, flags, banners, silly messages on banners, lego, copying one person's 3 hour choice of attire for whatever reason is just plain embarrassing. But if you want to do it as individual and be a subject to laugh at and not with, your choice.

I don't recall swathes of Nottm Forest supporters wearing green jumpers when Brian Clough was in charge !

Hate? No. All their stuff? No. Banners and messages written on them to people 100 yards away are cringe, yes. All wearing, black every game. Erm...why? Constant singing, all for it. The drum at times when it doesn't allow other songs from elsehwere to happen or keeps the 3pm-3.20pm private jump up and down on the spot party.

I wanted to get one of the caps like TP wears but they don't seem to have them in the club shop any more. Anyone know if they still stock them, like this:
