No one prised him from stoke, and we should maybe look at offering an decent long term contract to Pulis. I can see a few clubs being interested in Pulis, but his achievement here is in keeping with his entire management career.

Yes, but how's it all going to go wrong jamie?

I've been thinking the same Sashy.

Not a question of 'if' but 'when and how?'

Gotta give it CPFC2010 though. They've made the challenge hard enough to have Jonathan Creek scratching his head in defeat.

I'll go with Pulis leaves and we employ David Moyes who ends up shagging one of the owner's daughters. Cue implosion.

Its going far, far , far too well for my liking Kerms....

We'll get implicated in a Far East betting syndicate scandal - the first 6 games designed purely to push up the odds of us finishing higher than 12th, and we'll be docked all points received since then which will then, naturally, be awarded to Man Utd becasue we're all so very proud of them and they've had a simply horrid time, the poor poppets.

This could be the big one Sash. The one we've always known that we may get before we popped our clogs. And it'll make 1980 and 1993 seem like a walk in the park. There's no Bloye, Venables, Goldberg, Jordan nor Noades to blame this time. No Sansom or Wright leaving.

Jump forward to 2018 and we're fighting relegation to League one and 85million in debt.

I think that'll be the camel's back breaker for me.

I'll just put my life-long love affair with football to bed and start wearing an England shirt.

CPFC2010 sell us to a Japanese megalomaniac who says he is very proud to own 'Crittal Paris'. He sacks Pulis and his backroom staff and brings in his own man who has just finished 2nd from bottom in the J League. Players are then made to train 3 times a day using martial art techniques.
There is a mass transfer request and we end up with only youth players. Results are disastrous as we tumble down the leagues and we find ourselves at the bottom of league two. We then sue the likes of Tranmere and Shrewsbury for knowing our team in advance before they both thrash us.
And before you all accuse me of being negative again. I'm only bloody joking!
Ps. Pulis takes the Brighton job and leads them to consecutive Prem titles.

None of the above, i think it is our turn for a few years of good fortune!

Worse case scenario we lose a few fans favourites, but the beauty of now being in the big time, we could replace them.

I feel Pulis is hear for the long haul, wants to build something, and hang around, and is full of integrity, No Dougie Freedman, say what the fans want to hear bulls***, and then bugger off!

I am sure it will end up in tears sometime - somwhow - but not - I hope till we've had several good years in the PL under TP's guidance. CPFC2010 please make it last !

My guess is World War 3.

With the Russians, the Chinese and the Japanese all acting up and the US on the decline, I think it is inevitable that our future will be blown away (quite literally) by a combination of these factors leading to a cessation of the beautiful game for at least the 5 years it will take for Jedinak and Speroni to be too old to resume, for Pulis to lose interest, for CPFC2010 to have their assets claimed by the State to fund the war effort and for our academy to be swept up in National Service.

Anyone who can't foresee such a scenario has clearly only been following Palace over the last few years.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

This can't be happening - 3 games to go and we're not either fighting for a play-off place or (more often) fighting to avoid relegation

Surely Palace can't be one of those boring clubs that just finish mid table?

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

It is like are things really going this well, where's the catch. I am thinking we must balls this up soon. Surely life as a palace fan isn't this good?

I think it he whole bubble will burst in and around May or June when the greatest tabloid in this country ie The Daily Mirror will come up with the scoop of their entire history when they will reveal that we only won the last 5 games on the trot because there were secret meetings between those teams managers and us , these meetings were required as we were handing them cash from our slush fund to enable us to win all these games.
The mirror will have undeniable proof as they will reveal photographs of the various drop of points and that they saw someone with baseball cap leave the scene on every occasion.

I think the real Crystal Palace team were abducted by aliens and they left us with the current squad by mistake.

It does feel strange to be sitting safely in mid-table with nothing but pride to play for. Very un-Palace like.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
