Taught a bit of a lesson by a very good team who were up for it big time and had a team talk from Anfield that meant Pelligrini probably didn't need to say a word Plus points are we didn't cave and kept plugging on even though we weren't at our best Hopefully its a good grounding for those of our brethren who suddenly had us down as CL contenders for next season

Sometimes you have just got to hold your hands up and accept the better team won on the day. What was disappointing was that when we had attacking chances from free kicks and corners the delivery was so poor. Hopefully we can get that sorted before we play Liverpool.

Couldn't really fault Man City today, top quality team with an immense amount of understanding and free-flow. We can't compete when it's like that; didn't enjoy how flat footed they made out defence though. Toure's goal was something else, what a unit that man is.
