Oh God. I hope you're thick-skinned, I suspect this will be a long thread.

For what it's worth, I'd like Liverpool to win the title as they have proven that a strong squad can compete if everything comes together, without the aid of money that clubs themselves cannot generate.

I respect the club for the history it has, and I will always favour a competitive league, which means variations in winners. Those who perished in the tragedy have left behind a lot of people who have suffered, and a league title would be some kind of symbol of remembrance. But likewise, those who died in Heysal should be remembered. The incident that happened 25 years ago was terrible, but it was not isolated and there are numerous incidents throughout football history that have failed to receive the same level of sympathy. That should not be a reason to undermine the significance of Hillsborough, but there should be rememberance somewhere along the lines for all those who died at Bradford, Heysal etc.

I'd like Liverpool to be champions, but absolutely, 100%, I want my team to win every game it ever competes in. If that upsets some romantic ideology then so be it. I do not want a strong season to fizzle out into 3 consecutive defeats (which could easily happen if Fulham are fighting for their lives) as I believe momentum at season end has significance to the following August.

Hillsborough was a tragedy, but it's not the only one:

My mum's a scouser - and I'd like to see Liverpool win the league...

BUT I want Palace to beat them ( 3 nil, Bolasie to score ideally) - and if that means they don't win the league then so be it. They should have played better vs Chelsea

I'm almost certain he's just a troll. 7 of his previous 10 posts have been calling people bullies and he only joined in January so *shrugs* I suspect he's not a Palace fan either but who knows?

Belt up fella. The 96 deserve justice. Not three points from Palace.

Matter of interest, would anyone like us to lose a

match, which by losing meant Brighton getting relegated?

OP. A very sad indeed day but the Liverpool fans themselves were the problem!

Do your homework and maybe post on a 'What happened at Heysel' page?
