Many people I have asked such as Nick Gusset have conveniently avoided the question of who they vote for which strikes me as odd, as they appear to be such political experts! I don’t care who you or anyone votes for, but please have the balls to stand up and say so.

That said, who a person votes for is a personal and private matter and they are under no obligation to make such details available to all and sundry.At the end of the day it is a "Secret ballot" !

When I knock on doors to ascertain voting intentions I don't take umbrage if people are "Vague" as I fully accept that they wish to keep this information to themselves.


Willo, I agree with what you say about voting being a private matter and have no problem with you. I suppose what I do not understand though is if someone wishes to comment (and often strongly) on a political forum then they (in my mind) are forgoing the right for their views to remain private. Commenting/knocking other parties but hiding behind their 'rights to privacy' to me just smacks of hypocrisy and shows a complete lack of guts. I find it very difficult to take such people seriously

They cannot admit it on here because they would look stupid and as you say it makes it easier to criticise their political beliefs.

You sound like a reasonable and open minded person,who doesn't trot out silly stereotypes....so a good person to comment on the "make up" of the average right wing poster on here. What do you think they tend to wear and look like when not needing to seem "brave" behind their keyboard?
