What will Roy Hodgson have learned from watching the match v L'pool?

Any Palace players on the brink of call-up for Brazil?

Or was he just interested in the 'pool players?

Surely to late to experiment with 'new' players, more a case on amending Woy's view on the fitness and condition, physical and mental, of his squad, that he must have in his mind. But a defender who can play easily off both feet, blocks the trickiest of wingers and is able to sally forward profitably. That may be too enticing to ignore. But Woy saw him.... step forward Wardy.

Hopefully he's noticing Joel if only for post World Cup. I would hope he would have been quite impressed with parts of Dann's play too in a position England aren't heavy with quality, but he was there to watch the LFC players (and possibly scout Suarez in person)

What he would of learned is that glen Johnson doesn't deserve to be on the plane. He may be good going forward but his defending is average at best. As much as I would love to see ward in the england shirt and am sure he would love to play for his country once that happens we could see him being courted by other clubs. He may be being looked at now by prem league clubs but why widen it too clubs abroad as well. I would like him to have a rest during summer and come back rested and fighting ready for next season.

What not to do when you're 3-0 up.

NO !
Hodgson will only pick those that he has already seen playing for England.

That with Leighton Baines and Glen Johnson at full back, he's very lucky DR Congo won't be at the World Cup

certainly hope he doesnt pick Ward. The boy has worked his balls off this season and could do with a break. Even if he did go to Brazil, he would likely not get a game. He¨d just come back mentally drained from it all, and quite possibly, tapped up.

Hodgson left at 3-1, apparently.
