Far too much being read into this regarding Jules' contractual position. If you were Pulis, you have a match which means 'nothing' and you have a keeper you have not seen play in a competitive match for months, then it is the perfect opportunity to give him a game, see how he performs and start building for next season. Complete common sense - though I hope and expect he had the decency to have a private word with Jules beforehand.

I love Jules as much as everybody but Hennessey was fine, he looked pretty solid and had no chance with both goals.

Is be amazed if pulis wasn't going to give Jules a new deal, and if he wasn't he would have picked him for this as a chance to say goodbye to the fans. All looks good for a new deal I'd say.

Couldn't make the game today but was at work and saw Pulis interview pre match - said that Speroni has been amazing for us all season and felt that Hennessey has been good in training the last 5 months and has been patient so deserved his chance today. Was complimentary about Jules and as much as I want him to play all in fairness he probably deserves the break. He'll be back I'm sure. Bloody well hope so anyway

i for one hopes that jules is offered a new contract but also know that at some stage (whenever that may be) he will not be our no.1, Given what TP has conjured up this season i have to say that i think i would back his judgement whatever, no player whoever they may be is greater than the club, great players have been and gone,we will all support this club whoever is in the first team, its always gonna happen, at the moment i have faith in TP i'm sure he will do what he feels is best for the club

WH can kick it far he looked confident coming for crosses he couldn't have saved those two shots and neither would have Julian good idea to play him for this one

TP has the welfare of the whole team/club to think about, not babysit any player whatever name and reputation. A wise selection and proved we have two very good goalkeepers. Next season they will probably both be given chances in the A-team.
