Why are you and nick trying to make child abuse an exercise of political point scoring or personal attack, other than against those who carried it out? This thread is pathetic.

As you brought it up, lets look at Islington:

From 1964 to 1998 Labour controlled the council, apart from a 3-year period of Conservative control from 1968 to 1971, and a brief period of SDP control between 1981 and 1982 following the defection of Labour councillors.

........................................................................................................

If you actually stopped and reflected before you posted, you will see my post (which appeared immediately before your own) is about a Labour politician, precisely because concerns over historic sexual abuse and failures to investigate adequately are far too important an issue to fall into the category of political point-scoring,whether by anyone (if it was the case) only attacking politicians because they hold certain views (which I doubt),or those attacking posters commenting on matters of great concern on the basis that they are not attacking politicians of opposite beliefs.

If Kermit, for example, is also being attacked by you as well, rather than knocking him for bringing to attention abuse in Islington, you should applaud him.

And if you look at the post above that also says it.
And if you had read my posts you will see I do not care what political side any one is on,if they abuse children I would put them up against the wall.

I know Islington was controlled by the left - I was the first poster to mention Hodge if you read back - and I also know the BBC is of a left liberal leaning slant. No political point scoring here. Your rant-o-meter and default position needs to take a break.

See child killer Robert Oliver - Sidney Cooke's sidekick - was outed as living in Guildford a few months back. Local backlash saw him gone to some other unsuspecting town.

He would know a few people who would have questions to answer.

My post was to kermit and nick, not you elgrande, you just happened to post while I was writing mine.

The title says everything you'd like to say, nick. I don't see a Blair and Rolf thread.

And your post a few up kermit mentions the hotbed of labour that's Islington, and then strays into "Tory MP.." .

I've not read the whole thing and tried to avoid it previously due to the predictability of it all.

Read the first post of the thread again. I started the thread in response to stirlings comments on another thread. As it is, the longer time goes on, the more it seems those in the establishment - are being implicated in complicity with nonces. It wouldn't surprise me if any of the royal family aren't involved somewhere along the line too. I wonder what Rolf and HRH chatted about whilst he was painting her portrait.
I'm sure you know my feelings about Blair and his coterie.

See if you can just find five minutes to read this link,a letter from Liz Davies, whom I think is the Islington social worker referred to in my earlier post this evening,to the Prime Minister in 2012,as pertinent now as then. Then, try looking into a mirror with a straight face and saying "what an irrelevance to have a pathetic thread about. What a waste of my time to take an interest in things like this or to be concerned by them.I will only take it seriously if posters can find something of equal concern about politicians of an opposite party too"
