This post has been merged from a topic called 'Rudy Gestede (Rumour)' by Moose Apparently available for circa £5 million. I'd prefer Gestede at £5mil over Gomis at £8/9mil, particularly when you consider the likely wage difference. Gomis would be the better option in a pure footballing sense, but I still think Gestede would add something to the squad.

I'm a little confused. We get sanogo on loan so that he can get more game time, and yet were looking at buying someone in a similar mould,in either Gomis or gestede. If we got Gomis, he would need game time to show his best, as would sanogo, and we can't play them together surely? Just seems a bit strange to me......

Cam Jam has the same number of goals as Gestede in the Championship. May as well go full circle.

Not in Blackburn's squad today because of 'Premier clubs' interest',
The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp |

not to play Devil's Advocate, but do you think if this happened we might see Murray go the other way? I wouldn't want that to happen, but I can't see Murray being happy to risk becoming bottom of the pile again.
