I think you could say the entire squad that season were heroes. I don't think its exaggerating to say that had they not stayed up that season that Crystal Palace wouldn't exist anymore!

I'd say richard Shaw. Very consistent and also was brilliant at man marking. Cantona lost his head cos of the job Shaw did on him in 94.

I always thought David Tuttle was underrated. He was in great form before that c*** Vinnie jones broke his leg at selhurst. Very solid defender that never let us down. Also from that side Carl Veart was strangely effective.
