I don't know where you're asking me to look. Can you be more specific? That was just by the way. It is s*** though. We're you actually getting at this bit? Voters were also asked in the poll whether, if the debates do go ahead as proposed, the debate that includes Nigel Farage should also include the Green party leader Natalie Bennett. So 47% of public want Greens in TV debates, if UKIP are allowed. Which is rather different to "80% of public want Greens in TV debate".

I don't know where you're asking me to look. Can you be more specific? Not off hand, i'll search for it when I get time. Basically I proposed that why don't they have x, y and z as the formats (including the Greens) out of fairness, which I believe you agreed with. It wasn't a personal want, but a why not.

Ashcroft Poll puts Caroline Lucas 9% ahead in her constituency. Excellent news. Green support is still small compared to say, ukip, but it's growing fast, and they may have a part to play in any future coalition after thew GE, along with the SNP & possibly Plaid Cymru. They're going to get 1 MP. Plaid will be lucky to keep all 3 of theirs. SNP is obviously a different kettle of fish but realistically coalitions beyond 2 parties rarely last, so if it's close enough for 4 MPs to make a difference, the parliament won't last 5 years and the Tories will be back in again.

In the unique constituency of Brighton Pavilion, I found the Green Party ten points ahead, with a four-point swing from Labour. Edited by Seth (19 Dec 2014 1.01am)

I expect the election results as a proportion of votes to be about where the polls are now. 1992 was a shock but since then the polls have been pretty accurate.

I expect the election results as a proportion of votes to be about where the polls are now. 1992 was a shock but since then the polls have been pretty accurate. Polling has been improving for decades thankfully. I think in 1992, it simply wasn't good enough. The governing party nearly always gets a boost in the months before an election, so the Tories and Lib Dems are likely to pick up by May a little, which will obviously hurt Labour.

Speaking of polls... [Link] Greens are 4 points behind UKIP according to Ipsos Mori. Pretty interesting graph (

Likely to get my vote, if they're standing in my area (not that it will make much difference but you never know). I just don't particually like their environmental policy - still you can't have it all.
