As stated before, if he can sort out the problems off field and knuckles down he can be a quality signing, and for not much as he has one year left on his contract. For the short term basis it could be a good signing, but with him being 31, Murray being the same age we need to either trust in Gayle or bring in another young striker for the future as well

If Benteke leaves Villa, Sherwood will be in for him.

It was Sherwood who brought him back to the Spurs first team, and he did start scoring goals.

Would be a great signing if wages, fee are all right and he's in the right mindset for it. World Class player.

Are you being serious? He is nowhere near world class.

I agree if his head is in the right place and the wages are within budget he would be a good signing but saying he is world class is going a bit far.

he is a player who has loads of skill but this type of players isn't what we need at palace he has had so much sick time off with spurs because of family problems etc and seems to be always injured the only way we should get him is a pay as you play system and when he doesn't play only 10 k a week and we know the answer big time Charlie's like him would say

On the other hand, he might just be the sort of player who needs a manager who puts an arm around him and takes care of him and it may be that AVB and Pochettino aren't that type. Sort of like Sherwood did, and look how he paid Sherwood back. Adebayor is a fantastic player. If we can unlock his potential he would be a seriously good signing. Yes, there's an "if" but until we're top 4, the only players of his quality we're going to be able to sign will come with "ifs". Worth it, in my view, if AP thinks he can bring out Adebayor's best.

If Tottenham want Bolasie then tell them the only way it will happen is with Townsend involved in a swap or don't bother. I think Adebayor is a decent player but if we do sell YB then we need a similar player to replace him because he is integral to our playing style.
