Ok, can you ask your gentleman friend if Remy would be interested in a move to Palace given the impending investment in the club; having previously worked with Pardew and the fact he'd be the 'main man' rather than the bit part he is at the moment? (all providing we stay up of course). That would be interesting, relevant and insightful information. I'm sure if Remy was asked the question he would say that he is a Chelsea player, is focussing his efforts on Chelsea and as such would not wish to engage in speculation linking him to another club. Weak cop out. You're right Remy would probably give those answers in a public press conference but surely not in private to your 'knowledgeable gentlemen friend'. A friend who seems to be happy to pass you information that is evident to all who have watched Remy play but reluctant to divulge the inside track on anything of any note.

My "Knowledgeable gentleman" friend is not a chum of Remy, accordingly it is highly unlikely they would engage in private conversations which led to an "Exclusive" pertaining to speculation about the player and our club. As for the information passed to me about Remy's playing prowess, I was just stating a miniscule part of an elogated discussion we had about an array of matters so they weren't wholly concentrated on the player.Was it "Evident" ? Clearly you are also well informed on such matters. I noticed that you changed your wording from "Brilliant" to "Weak". It was very EVIDENT to me ! Finally I won't respond to any more of your comments as I don't wish to provide them with the "Oxygen" of publicity. Have a great weekend.

I changed the wording as I didn't think you'd get the irony and I didn't want to add to your already inflated ego....but that's probably just me misinterpreting your posts - like so many on here - as by your own admission you're more self deprecating. Enjoy the sunshine.

I have a very reliable who is very much in the know who tells me that "Loïc Rémy (born 2 January 1987) is a French professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the France national team, primarily as a striker. He was described by his former manager Didier Deschamps as "a young international who is fast and powerful with huge potential".[3]" Please don't "turn" this into a "thread" about me though.
