I guess your the away fans on Saturday!

I Just wondered how many Palace fans are coming to Burnley on Saturday? Lets hope its more than QPR - they brought less than 900 - a real dissgrace to the Premier League.

Burnley give visting fans all the David Fishwick (Cricket End) stand - around 4,100.

So far this season the following clubs have filled it; Chelsea, Man Utd, Everton, Sunderland, Liverpool and Villa.

Newcastle brought (roughly) 3,500; Spurs (FA Cup) 2,500; Southampton 2,000; Hull 1,600; and QPR 900.

So how many Palace fans are going to come?

By the way at the back of the away end is Burnley Cricket Club, which is the "official away fans pub" your all welcome in there before and after the match. It has 3 bars; also serves hot and cold food and has Sky TV throughout. It is also the place to park your cars or mini-buses.

Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

It just said on the bbc, that you've taken 500 to Tottenham tonight. How many did Burnley bring to Selhurst earlier in the season?

Just checked and they brought 1856 to Selhurst. Think that'll be more than we have there on Saturday. Travelling up with two others from Hereford and can't wait as is my first away game for about a year. Hard to say how many we will have but I will guess about 1200-1300 ?

"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!"

Always remember Burnley bringing decent numbers to our place when we were in the Championship considering the trek. A lot of northern clubs have London based fan clubs though which swell their numbers for games in the capital.

Dont imagine we have anything similar up there

Cheers

Why is CP away support so poor? I was expecting at lest 1.500 - maybe 2,000 at TM on Saturday.

If memory serves me right about 1,000 Clarets fans went to Selhurst earlier in the season. But you must remember Burnley is a MUCH smaller club (only a hardcore of 15,000 home fans) and town (around 70,000).

We'll sound like 4,000. I've done Burnley away and it doesn't help that it's

1) An arse to get to
2) A s*** ground
3) A pretty sh*t place (sorry)
4) It's cold, it's January and everyone's skint.

When you've won plaudits for how your support is the best in the land, maybe you can come here asking us why we're so poor. Not before. Thanks.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

OK thanks, did not realize so many Clarets went to that game (I did not go myself).

I've emailed CP 3 times now asking them for pay on the day ticket details, and numbers of tickets already sold, but nobody replies - are they closed this week?

Thatsa a bit harsh!!

1) you can get a train from Euston to Preston or Manchester, then a direct train to Burnley now. So whats the problem?
2) the ground is average I grant you, but we give away fans 4,100 tickets - more than some of the big London clubs.
3)again a bit harsh, but then again so is post-riot Croydon. Plus we give away fans their own pub and car-park at the Cricket Club.
4) why would everybody be skint? Your on twice what we earn anyway.

PS, Your home support is great, maybe the best in the Premier. But your poor away support drags you back down to (almost) QPR level. Thats a shame.

That's almost laughable. Every away game we sing from start to finish and are much louder than any support I have seen. We could bring 300 to Burnley and still make double the noise of your lot?

We don't have a name of good support for nothing!
