Birdman - 8.5 out of 10 A really different film which was bold in its approach. I liked the subtext, the actors were brilliant and the incidental humour was enjoyable too. A few plot difficulties for me but I get the impression that's what the director wanted.
I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry. |

This weekend we have watched the following 2 movies. Imitation game 8/10 Personally I thought it was a very well scripted, clever film, another great performance by benedict cumberbatch...my only worry with him is he is in danger of getting typecasted for roles. Also... Unbroken 7/10 Angelina jolies debut as a director, a true life story about a Olympic althelete who signed up for ww2, had to survive on a life raft for 47 days and gets captured by japs and out into a pow camp...very good storyline for me personally, decent performances by lead actors, well worth watching, Tonight we will be watching stat Stephen Hawkins film...hoping it's decent.

The final battle scene where they defend the attack was nothing short of brilliant, and as per usual brad Pitt was decent.

Dumb and Dumber to 8/10 Was good but just a remake of the first. Got to have a half decent sence of humour to watch it. My stubborn Farther gave up watching it.
