Why won't it happen? Long range bombers is all they need....That's what they want and that's what Russia are providing.....Knock out that runway and we are fecked. Complacent defence reviews assume far too much......You can't defend a nation's interests on positive assumptions. Anti aircraft isn't going to be effective against high level accurate bombing. As for ground troops....without air cover they are sitting ducks. Are you not forgetting about our own jet aircraft in the area?....the bombers would not stand a chance and be shot down before they got anywhere near....You really do under estimate our military capability in the area you really do. I've already referred to the runway. We have four planes.....This is twelve bombers.....Besides once the runway receives any hit all the planes are out. Maybe you're just not thinking it through. You surely do not know the area or the domain. I have served there and if you thought about it our aircraft are fast very fast and have up to date weapons that would out do any bombers that try to bomb the airfield. We are so well prepared this time that we should not worry about the islands. The Argies have had planes for years since the Falklands war and as old as the ones that Putin has given them....but they have not tried it yet as they know what we have in the area and will not risk it. The threats they give these days are idle threats and are only given to take the Argie populations mind of the way their finances and country are taking a dive due to the idiot woman in charge at the present time....Have you yourself ever really looked into the situation that now exists in the Falklands with regard to defences we have ??? You might be surprised if you did!
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Argentina is sinking, they are losing ground on much of South America, which is scary as most of it is tough going!!! The Argentinian people seem easily waylaid when it comes to talk about what you guys call the Falklands! They totally miss the point of the country going down the pan!

It doesn't matter how fast four planes are against twelve. All it requires is for one bomber to get through and more than that are likely in a simultaneous full on attack. Also once that air field is damaged the number of troops we have there.....what is it...a thousand? That becomes irreverent once air cover is lost. Once the air field is damaged we have lost the islands....With no means of controlling the air they could land many more thousands of troops than us and plus they may have old fighters and bombers but once that air field is gone they only need to engage outside of the range of anti aircraft guns and ensure the troops are landed......With no realistic hope of resupply..... modern era generals don't waste troops fighting battles with no hope of victory. If Argentina want it enough....They have a good chance with these bombers.

I like your aggressive tone stirling, I just wish the West would see the danger ahead if HitlerII is allowed to sing his tune! I know The UK needs to look after its own, but this could become something, so let's hope the west is as ready as you surmise! But you are right, if the really want the west can give it, but does the west want to?
