I'd still like to see Hennessy given a chance but as we're playing this game; Guillermo Ochoa?

An International who's not first choice at current club, Liverpool apparently rumoured to be in for him in January for about £4m.

Guillermo Ochoa from Málaga. Quality in the World Cup & not getting an eye in at the Spanish club. 29 years old so still got 5-6 years left in him.

No thanks. He dines at the same restaurants as Alberto Contador, steak with a side of Clenbuterol.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Firstly, let's just be clear that Speroni is and always will be a total Palace legend.

Having said that, there's a lot of bollox been said on the HOL about Hennessey by self professed experts who seem to think they know the lad.

The bottom line is that we've seen precious little of Hennessey and far from enough to make a clear decision as to whether or not he's #1 material.

Personally I'd like to see him get some games in the last few fixtures, especially in the games against the top teams where we're not expecting much. Only after he's had a run of games can we make any real assessment of his abilities.

Now that's what I call talking bollox.

From the little I have seen of Hennessey, I haven't been over impressed. I have caveated that by saying that only after a run of games would it be fair to have a definitive opinion of him. But if successive managers have selected Speroni over Hennessey then I would contend that we need to be at full strength against the '' top teams '' - we don't ( yet ) have the luxury of not needing to pick up points against any opposition.

Also isn't it a little unfair to select someone trying to prove themselves only for matches that clearly you think we have little chance in ? I don't think that would give us a clearer picture either !

Successive managers also picked Kiraly, Flinders etc. over Speroni. I don't understand this argument on forums that if a manager has picked someone then they must be right....Warnock got every team selection spot on did he?

Ron-Robert Zieler from Hannover, 26 already has experience with the German National side and with Hannover currently 14th Palace could look a better option.

Tim Krul is on AP's radar for next season, and apparently Newcastle are willing to let him go, but at what price? If this materialises, then it could also mean a change of goalkeeping coaches too.

Mike Ashley would probably sell his grandmother if Pards wanted her at Palace - that's how you get to be a billionaire.
