Been a good week for astronomy & the sun, hopefully we get clear skies.
The earth only has total eclipses for another 16000 years then they are gone forever.

Put a light on.

A shadow passed over my custard filled pastry a minute ago.

It was a total eclipse of my tart.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Why?

I'm guessing because we'll be too close to the sun, so the moon doesn't cover it.

Am I right, Ouzo Dan?

In the good old days, we used to get proper solar eclipses, not like these namby pamby modern ones. Kids today, don't know they are born.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

WE had about 90% eclipse here in Bristol.... the sun momentarily popped out of the clouds for this photo, but it's hard to see anything.... 4/10 for effort...
