One thing that really p*sses me off is when a question is asked like "What was the Beatles 1st number one in 1963?" and they answer "That was before my time" or "I wasn`t born then" IT`S A F*CKING QUIZ TOS*ERS!!

One thing that annoys me is when they a question like 'what Ocean is Maritius in' ? or 'which member of the Beatles had a No1 first' and they Pass. ?? You can at least have a guess FFS !!

I suspect most of this is polite conversation. Uses up time for the TV company and for the person it's a way of calming the nerves. As much as I like Pointless the amount of chat that goes on between the two hosts and the guests and the two hosts themselves is too much. That's my moan. Now we can both calm down!

When talking TV quizzes the HOL inexorably moves towards Only Connect and Victoria Coren, the HOL posh pin up girl, so I might as well move straight to the point. I would and would and would again....

Their not so much a quiz, as a exercise in the futility of the human species as a whole. The participants could quite easily get 'What is your name' wrong, several times.

Many years ago I went to a football quiz in Warlingham. A question was asked out loud "Name the clubs which Alan Mullery has managed?" to which one cad answered "NONE of them" Raucous laughter around the hall !
