'Take your Pick' 50 odd years ago. I used to watch "Take your Pick" with Michael Miles ! Featuring of course the "Yes/No interlude at the beginning with the gong!

I like Tuesday nights.... University Challenge at 8pm BBC2 followed by Only Connect. Sadly OC ended last week and UC has only got 2 shows to go. I also like Eggheads and Pointless, but they are not nearly as challenging, but as entertaining in a light hearted way. Really, I can get lower answers, but getting pointless answers is very difficult. I've only got them when they've been books (benefit of working in a bookstore is a knowledge of all the lesser known novels by authors).

I have heard that in pub/club quizzes in this modern era many people use their mobile phones to attain the answer ! I went to a pub in Kenilworth, Warwickshire many years ago and there happened to be a "quiz Night" that night.The quiz was based around "Family Fortunes" whereby the contestants had to name the most popular answer given to questions on that show. I wonder if this can be found by browsing the internet on phones ?

I was on "Going for gold" many moons ago...Didnt win though..but had a fun day out...That Henry Kelly was a real nice guy.
