So it's OK for her to use the word "queers" I would bet a pound to a shiny penny that if you pressed her to name one instance of where she has been on the receiving end because of race, gender or sexuality today, yesterday, last Tuesday, 23rd Auguest 2012 or any other date you care to mention she couldn't name one... She's simply a trappy, up her own arse bint seeking victimhood by whatever means possible. She probably has. My best friend is Asian, and has experienced threats and abuse on the basis of skin colour (which has only increased since he married a white girl). Similarly I've got female friends who've been harassed by men even after they've made it clear they're not interested and a gay friend who's experience includes being beaten up for being gay on a number of occasions (specifically for being gay). This kind of s**t still goes on, it might not be condoned by the majority, and is probably the work of a minority of stupid, probably young, t***s who think its funny or a laugh (or just don't realize it). She probably hasn't..daily ????- do me a favour Jamie It makes me cringe to say this but going to anyway.... I have lots of black friends, a few Asian of origin and a few Europeans as well as a gay couple and two lesbians - (hate compartmentalising but need to make the point) - all friendships picked up as I have meandered through life Yes they still occasionally get stick for one reason and another, buts it incredibly rare and certainly not a daily occurrence. Has it ever occurred to the Diversity Office at Goldmsiths people simply do nasty stuff to her because she is a c*nt ????
Daily is definitely pushing it, unless you're specifically looking for any excuse to be offended when none is intended. Makes me wonder, is she trolling BNP sites to actually experience offence? The issue isn't non-existant - I dare say she's encountered abuse, and maybe due to what she does hears of it on an almost daily basis, but in reality its just hyperbole as argument, and in doing so more harmful than good. I wasn't taking her side, just saying she'd probably had experiences. Haven't well all - we don't all go to the deck and pull out the race of spades though ?

By the way, did anyone watch 'Frankie Boyle's Election Autopsy'? Like a lot of BBC comedy it was a bit hit and miss. Clearly the comedians were a bit leftist, anti-UKIP but I don't mind that too much. It's irreverent and anti-politics, although interesting how BBC 'satire' follows EXACTLY the same pattern regardless of channel or programme (Cameron is posh, Miliband useless, Clegg a traitor, Farage a racist) Anyway, did anyone see the monologue about supposedly 'racist to the core' Britain by the rapper guy at the end? It was undoubtedly eloquent and interesting and it was quite well-informed. But it was NOT comedy or satire. It was a bald political statement and went completely unchallenged for a good six or seven minutes. Whether you agree or disagree, it is desperately poor standards from a supposedly impartial broadcaster and I was pretty shocked the BBC put it out.

For me Diversity is reverse racism. It gives ethnics and black people the chance to exclude white people and stick the boot in. It also gives them the chance to bang on about things that happened hundreds of years ago like the slave trade and blame us for what our ancestors did. The whole diversity industry should be banned/outlawed along with political correctness and all that other PC b**ls**t.

Is it inappropriate for Palace to support the concept of "kick racism out of football"? Or is it simply PC and,as such, as you suggest, should be "banned/outlawed"? Should Palace have felt any unease at employing Moody in the job he had in light of the revelation of the views expressed in his text messages?

It can allegedly cause distress to those whose cultures are being 'misappropriated' but I personally think that's all utter b0ll0cks. I hate middle-class people hanging out in Peckham in sportswear emulating poor people and would like to exclude them back to suburbia but this has fcuk all to do with the fact that they are white people, in a black area that was previously white so I don't accept that people can have a valid gripe over someone doing something that other races usually do. Granted, the UKIP guy's Calypso song was more offensive than Boy George, or Ali Campbell, or Sting, The Clash etc. but the notion of misappropriation didn't exist then, while racism obviously did. I despise Trustafarians and I'm pretty upset that I can't take issue with them misappropriating my culture but I'd rather have universal tolerance than see white people with the wrong hairstyle being cast in to the same pit as the Black & White Minstrels Edited by johnfirewall (29 Jul 2015 11.45pm)
