Depends how how old granddad is. Tax revenues (incl NI) as a percentage of GDP haven't changed over the past 50 years: 1964/65:36.3% 1974/75:35.7% 1984/5:37.6% 1994/5:33.4% 2004/5:35.1% 2014/15 (est):35.8%

Depends how how old granddad is.

Tax revenues (incl NI) as a percentage of GDP haven't changed over the past 50 years:

1964/65:36.3%
1974/75:35.7%
1984/5:37.6%
1994/5:33.4%
2004/5:35.1%
2014/15 (est):35.8%
