If we had Green MP, he or she would want football banned as all that running around on the pitch injures earth-worms and insects in the grass.

If we had a UKIP MP and their desires were put into effect,we might be looking for a new goalkeeper, left back, defensive midfielder and striker!

Plus, the future likes of Bolassie, Zaha and Moses might not grow up here.

I went for dinner at an Indian restarant with Nigel Farage, he ordered a Chicken Swastika Masal with Egg Fried Reich... boom tsh

You could always pop down to the Oval and ask their candidate. Seems like a nice lady. But then I always like publicans.

Not quite sure what the problem is here. He said he helped save us 'along with thousands of others'. He could have quite easily done nothing.

The problem is he did pretty much nothing. One email to Osborne and a call to Lloyds. No message of support to the fans and now trying to take credit for saving the club. Typical opportunist bandwagon-jumping from an MP desperate to save his skin.

Both of which could have arguably had a big effect on the outcome.

Just comes across as a pretty poor excuse/opportunity to kick the Conservatives.

Er...no they didn't. Nobody even noticed he'd done anything until he started blowing his own trumpet and fishing for votes. The work was done by CPFC2010 and the fans, not this little tory weasel.

This "Little Tory weasel" as you put it got elected on Thursday in a key marginal ! Well done.

And he said himself he is not saying he was any kind of "Saviour".

He is an ok chap.
Was of some assistance & support when my 2 younger daughters were attacked a couple of years ago.
He's also responded to a local housing issue, when contacted.
pleased he got elected.
Labour in Croydon done themselves nofavours having a large 'vote communist' banner on the front of Ruskin house during election week.
Idiots.

So why say it then? Unless he has no other actual greatest personal achievements from his 5 years in office, which, after serving the community for that time, would be a bit worrying.
Loads of people marched, wrote letters, protested etc but I bet there's very few that would claim the collective actions of the many as a greatest achievement on a personal biography - unless they were trying to claim a bigger role than the actual?
