I wonder what calibre of shell the anti aircraft gun used was and fired at what range?

Do you think they propelled him into the air like a clay pigeon before firing it?

The mind boggles!

They could make a sport out of it.

It was (allegedly) a ZPU-4 with a range of 26,000ft fired with the target (his uncle) just 100 ft away.

Apparently, there's not much left to find afterwards.

Don't think the latest purged comrade was his uncle. His uncle was allegedly torn apart by hungry dogs and then his children, brother and grandchildren were also killed.

North Korea of course has its supporters here. Tony Benn attended one of their meetings. The economic set up of North Korea is of course exactly what the extreme left wing groups in this country would like to have here.

You've been doing so well de....rben. Don't fvck it up now. Heel, boy.

Just to clarify, a round like that explodes on impact, the resulting fragmentation of the round (14.5mm)would shred him like he'd been in a blender firstly, there would be nothing left at all, he would have been blown to bits literally "pink mist" is the term used, and lest we forget these fire at a rapid rate from a magazine so he would have been hit ten of times. Secondly have I mentioned there would be nothing left ...

North Korea has some competition: - quote from cameron (assume today?, article doesn't make it clear)

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone',"

I can think of one or two who would make good anti-aircraft gun practice.

North Korea has executed its disgraced defense minister for falling asleep at formal events, among other offenses, with the execution carried out using an anti-aircraft gun, a report said Wednesday. North Korean Defense Minister Hyon Yong Chol had held his post for less than a year but was sacked and sentenced to death for allegedly snoozing during military events and even talking back to supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Do you think the TUSC and Respect leaderships will be taking similar action following their triumphs in the General Election?

Edited by derben (13 May 2015 8.22am)

and will certain posters on here be proposing similar treatment for any they perceive as "lefties" on here in the spirit of their much evidenced triumphalism and "tolerance" for views other than their own since the election

Of course not, no need, extremist lefties always end up turning on each other.

I quite agree, all extremists are like that. But I think there are more splits and splintering on the left, The People's Front of Judea; Judean People's Front; Judean Popular People's Front; Popular Front of Judea; TUSC; Solidarity; Socialist Workers Party; Respect; etc etc etc Also, the rightwing extremists tend to be pretty upfront in their intentions, like the Nazis openly hating Jews, whereas the left while slaughtering various groups they disapprove of tend to say they are 'progressive' and doing it for the good of the 'people'(and of course pretending not to hate Jews too).

As Ronnie Reagan once said, "there you go again!"

No history of similar differentiation in the "extreme"right wing camp...NF, BNP, EDL,Britain First, 21st Century Blackshirts,English National Party etc

I think you are naive if you think "nasties" on the extreme right did/do not frequently try to dress up their agenda with populist justifications and play down nastiness, at a stage of seeking wider public support.

Equally,I'm not sure it could be said that the Stalin-era USSR played down hatred of others, ie "reactionary class enemies".Rather like the Nazis, they painted a picture of a paradise to be attained once the "evil other" within had been eliminated.

You also seem quick to equate some groups on the left with the very extreme right, rather than perhaps their more actual polar opposite equivalents, ie Respect (which I personally have no time for) and elements within UKIP.

Interestingly, when an opinion poll was taken earlier this year about underlying attitudes and political party preferences of voters, potential lib dem voters came out on top in terms of those also expressing anti-semitic sentiments,as opposed to potential voters for parties to their "left" and "right".

Maybe they lured him unto a trampoline for some family time...making it slighty harder for the men firing the anti aircraft gun ?

I'm not sure what the point of any of this is. We both seem to agree that extremists, whether left or right, are both nasty and deserving of ridicule. This thread is about ridiculing the ludicrous state of North Korea, I presume we both disapprove of the regime, unlike some not so extreme lefties who make excuses for them. I certainly don't agree that UKIP are as extreme as Respect (alias Socialst Workers Party).
